Happy Mother's Day!!

In complement to the Father's day, we all celebrate mother's day most commonly in the month of March, April or May to honor the sacrifices and influences of every mom to our family and our society.

Mother's Day celebration varies from different countries. In UK and Ireland, they celebrate mother's day every fourth Sunday of Lent/Easter. While Australia, Canada, US, New Zealand, India, China, Japan, South Africa, other parts of European countries and here in the Philippines, we do celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May. The East European countries celebrate every March 8th and the Arab nations on March 21st.

We do have different traditions, cultures, and languages, but we are the same when in comes to honoring our parents. This year, Mother's Day will be celebrated on may 8th. Got any plans for your mom? How do you celebrate mother's day?

My mom lives in another town which is 4 hours away from me, so we rarely got the chance to celebrate and hang out. But whenever I have an opportunity to visit or she could visit my daughter and me, I never fail to treat her out. Though I am not a vocal person, I want her to feel that she's special and I am thankful that she's my Nanay (mom).
My mom is a #SuperMom because she can be at a million places at the same time. She works at home with all her might and  simultaneously. Cooking, cleaning the house and doing laundry at the same time. I looked up to her until now as my inspiration to be a supermom and a superhero as well to my very own daughter.
Nay, All your love, all your caring ways, all your giving these years are the reasons why my heart thinks of you on Mother’s Day with a wish for happiness and the world full of love.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!
