Last month, my family and I went to Cebu, the Queen City of the South. It’s a place where there’s harmonious co-existence of history and culture while being at par with modernity. Many tourists and locals alike flock to this beautiful island due to its pristine beaches, delectable cuisines, and epic historical attractions.

We went to Sumilon Island to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and went island hopping nearby. Another exciting venture we embarked on was exploring several caves. Some of those that we visited are Paraiso Cave, Timubo Cave, and Holy Crystal Cave. We also enjoyed diving with the gentle giants at Oslob wherein we plunged ourselves into the deep waters and had that once in a lifetime 30-minute interaction with the whale sharks. Of course, we didn’t miss out on devouring the savory Lechon (roasted pig).
