We are going on a long term travel so the first years she will be homeschooling by us. For us, at thatage we are not aiming to learn her abcd ect but more learn her to enjoy learning and want to learn. I think if we succed we can be sure that will stay with her all life and the actual part of learning will come natural. Because in playing there are learning too, and we can't - inevitably avoid our kids to play even in school - so better yet secure their place, for our peace of mind too.elizahttp://thestyletraveller.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-240674462955035401.post-62720198078494104342017-08-26T15:10:38.927-07:002017-08-26T15:10:38.927-07:00I have been thinking about this more with my kids-...I have been thinking about this more with my kids- they would rather laze around. We have to ensure that schools are able to care for our children -- at play, while eating, inside classrooms. It's always best to choose a school that is not crowded so that teachers can focus on kids at all times.Ivan Josehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17879461473618587027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-240674462955035401.post-86705633030435143952017-08-25T19:56:52.709-07:002017-08-25T19:56:52.709-07:00True, and yeah since obesity is a big problem a lo...True, and yeah since obesity is a big problem a lot of physical activities should help. I also understand you being cautious on health matters - but honestly though I've never seen crazy big injuries in school. But it's always good to keep in mind.Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00277864464768062924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-240674462955035401.post-11627242039208951602017-08-24T22:09:50.153-07:002017-08-24T22:09:50.153-07:00I imagine it must be so exciting for you as the mo...I imagine it must be so exciting for you as the mother when your child finally goes to school. I love the fact that you research so much about it and look for the best school to do to your child. And yes, I agree that a little bit of physical activities are important. Not only for the simple fact of moving but also for the balance in the children's school routine. The class size was small so teachers would be able to effectively look after each and every child's safety and educational progress. When they got into 1st grade, me and my husband opted for a Catholic, co-ed, non-grade leveling institution. This is like assisted self study, which made the kids more responsible in learning. Best part? No homework. The school believes that all schoolwork must be done at school. The home is for family, not school work. Nice.Catvillshttp://catvills.comnoreply@blogger.com
