The Best of 2018 with Ryan Seacrest!!

On this episode of “Ryan and Kelly”, Ryan Seacrest and his co-host Kelly ask the staff members of the show what their favorite moments from 2018 were. I feel that this was a way of thanking their hard-working staff by allowing them to have a voice and by giving them some air time. With that said, here were the staff’s responses.

Executive Producer, Michael Gellman:

Michael loves when the shows feature family members of the hosts and staff. Naturally, he picked the Thanksgiving cooking episode, which featured his daughter, Misha. He thoroughly enjoyed her company and to be honest, I think she did as well.

Director, Brian Shatnin:

Speaking with “the voice of G.O.D”, Brian confessed that his favorite moment from 2018 was when Ryan Seacrest and company broke a world record for (yes, this is a record) the largest group of people flossing for one minute. They were met with rainy weather and wind, but nevertheless, 349 people shook their hips and flailed their arms around to earn a spot in The Guinness Book of World Records. Good job, I guess.

Producer, Lori Schulweis:

Lori loves the Fact or Fiction games from last year. The participants on the phones were hilarious and always listed facts that were...odd to say the least. Despite the uncomfortable situations and weird interactions, it was full of fun and side-splitting humor. I’m sure Lori will never forget those moments.

Audience Coordinator, Monique Bobbit:

Monique gets a kick out of watching the audience dance in an attempt to earn the apparently coveted role of being a dancer on the show. Based on what I’ve seen, it’s certainly entertaining. Let’s be honest for a second. Monique’s job looks like a lot of fun. Who wouldn’t want a job like that?

Audience Coordinator, Angie Riley:

No surprise, but Angie enjoys the dancing as well. The difference here is that she’s working with the winner of the previous audition. She gives them some pointers and helps them entertain the audience. Of course, some of the dances will do accomplish that their own. Again, what a super cool job! People like Angie and Monique really have it made! You have to wonder how you end up with great opportunities like that.

Producer, Christine Connolly:

Her favorite moment was when she witnessed Katy Perry and a couple of other guys walk into the studio wearing animal costumes. Katy, in particular, was dressed as a sloth. This isn’t that surprising in her case, but it was fun to watch. Afterwards, the three celebrity guests sat down with Ryan Seacrest and played a game where they guessed which of them would be most likely to do various things. Katy, by the way, was the only one who was still wearing her costume. Again, who’s surprised?

Naturally, all of the staff were not covered in this article. This was only the first part, ladies and gents. If you want to know the rest, be looking for future blog posts. As a matter of fact, you should stare at the screen and continuously refresh until something happens. I’m sure it won’t take long at all, so just keep waiting. Don’t avert your eyes or you’ll miss it! This is the most important thing in your life!! Forget your job, your kids, eating, just stare at the screen and wait!!

I’m just kidding, guys. Take it easy and enjoy your life. Maybe you’ll find time to see the next post and maybe you won’t. I’ll see you guys later.
