Sometimes you wake up from a good night's sleep, and you realize your hair is entirely out of control. Where do you begin to start? You hop in the shower to realize that, that didn’t really do anything either. You have come to the conclusion that your hair just needs that extra push to restoration and happiness- but how do you do that? This post about conditioner and tips to restore your hair- will help you get your luscious locks back to its natural state!
Five Tips to Restore your Hair:
1.   Brush your hair often from roots to ends
2.   Choose the appropriate shampoo and conditioner that is meant for your hair type
3.   Use an oil treatment or virgin olive oil
4.   Balance your nutrition, and eat lots of antioxidants
5.   Let your hair air dry + use a cotton t-shirt to ring out the water, not a towel
I know you're thinking well, of course, brushing my hair is a given… but the way you brush your hair is essential. You should section off your hair, and start at the top of your roots then slowly make your way down to the ends. You should not continually brush your ends because they are fragile and will break off if they are not healthy. When you start brushing at your roots, you are drawing the natural oils down to your ends. This spreads out the oils throughout your hair, instead of staying around your root area.
FUN FACT:
If you have too much oil around your roots, and your hair looks somewhat greasy; I would recommend sprinkling some baby powder in the root area to even out your oils. Of course, dry shampoo works great, but not everyone has that on hand.
Choosing the appropriate shampoo might seem easy enough, but it's important to read the labels and make sure the ingredients in the shampoo and conditioner will not strip your hair. If you have color treated hair, you should buy the shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair. When cleaning your hair, it’s important not to wash it every day. You should limit your hair washes to twice or three times a week.
If your hair feels weak and dry or just needs that proper rejuvenation; olive oil makes the perfect mask for your hair, alongside coconut oil. There are many other hair oils out there, but simple home remedies work great too!
When you think of growing your hair, often time’s people forget that nutrition is a big part of healthy cells. It’s true, what you put into your body you get out of it. Make sure you are putting essential foods that are good for your health into your body. Natural foods help hair growth and strengthen.
When you get out of the shower, most people ring their hair out with a towel. I know it’s the most convenient thing to do, but it is not the best thing to do for your hair. I would recommend buying or using an old white cotton t-shirt and storing it in your bathroom for when you get out of the shower. Cotton is a suitable material for your hair, because of the cotton. The fabric from the towel is very course, which is harsh for your hair.
